1. Definition
a) Radicals are driven by their visions of
what a better society could look and
the need to act about it.
b) They oppose injustice, inequality,
abuse of power.
c) In education, radical design opposes
the current curriculum design, by
fighting for learners education as a
social reform able to be critical.
d) Individuals in the radical camp
believe that schools have organised
themselves, their curriculum, and their
students in stratifications that are not
benign because it is planned and
manipulated to reflect and address the
desires of those in power while at the
same time capable to control students
and indoctrinate.
