perpendicular to a line.
(h) Differentiate between GO/TO and GOTO/ statement in APT.
(i) Explain the drive surface and check surface used in APT programming.

Q (11) Write a NC part program to machine the part from the raw material as shown below on a
NC lathe. Take the feed rate 100 mm/min, maximum depth of cut 1 mm and spindle RPM 1000.
Assume suitable data if missing.

Q (12) State and explain the four geometry statements each for defining the line and circle in
APT. Also explain the motion statements used for continuous motion commands.
