Square Air Core Inductors: Condition For True Rolling (Automobile)

The document discusses the conditions required for true rolling in an automobile. It states that true rolling only occurs when the direction of motion is perpendicular to the wheel axis. When a wheel experiences a side force parallel to its axis, it results in lateral distortion rather than true rolling. For all wheels to roll true on a curved path, their projected axes must intersect at a single point called the instantaneous center. Maintaining the proper steering angles allows vehicles to turn without lateral slip and ensures true rolling for all wheels.
