The first form to come up will be the Find Discrete Job. You do not need to use the find form when
creating new jobs. From the find form select the New button to enter a new job. If you were going to
re-enter an existing job to change any information you could use this find form to bring up your job or
you could close this form and query directly in the definition form. Please see the document on view
discrete job form, which goes over the fields on the find form.

can be another assemblies BOM.
For a Standard job you can enter the assemblies alternate BOM. For a

If you are controlling your routings utilizing revisions you can choose
from the list of values the revision you want to use.
This field will default in based on alternate revision selected.
Enter in the completion sub-inventory you will be completing the
assembly into. If this was setup on the routing it will default in. This
must be defined if you are using the Move Transactions form for

Enter the Kanban reference.
If you are using Lot control this field will display the lot number for the
build of the discrete quantity. R2I does not cover lot control.
This is a user defined field. You can enter in a meaningful description for
the discrete job. If the job is created from the MRP Planners Workbench,

cannot be made. To make changes see document on Update Operations Training.
This field will display the operational routing steps for the assembly.
If a standard operation is defined on the routing the code will be
displayed.
The department for the operational routing step will be displayed.
If the step is identified as a countpoint for the routing the box will be
checked.
If the step is identified to have resources autocharged the box will be
checked.
If the operational step is identified as a backflush step the box will be
checked.
Minimum Transfer Quantity will display the smallest quantity for which a
move transaction can be performed.
The date the quantities were last moved will be displayed.
