Create A Discrete Job

A discrete job is a tool to combine components and resources into a finished assembly or subassembly.
It may be used to capture costing information as well as scheduling information.
In the Work in Process responsibility:
Navigate to: Discrete > Discrete Jobs

The first form to come up will be the Find Discrete Job. You do not need to use the find form when
creating new jobs. From the find form select the New button to enter a new job. If you were going to
re-enter an existing job to change any information you could use this find form to bring up your job or
you could close this form and query directly in the definition form. Please see the document on view
discrete job form, which goes over the fields on the find form.
