LoadingProcedure
LoadingVehicleplacement:

1. Vehicleloadingplatformmustbecheckedbyloadingsupervisortoensure
therearenoopeningsontheloadingplatform.
2. Incaseoftruck,thebackdoorofthetruckmustbecheckedthoroughlyto
ensuresafelockingofthebackdoor.
3. Ifthebackdoorlockingarrangementisnotsatisfactory,thenitshouldnot
beusedasloadingplatform.
4. Thentheloadingcontainer/truckshouldbeshiftedtorequiredlocation
safely.
5. Whileshiftingvehiclethesupervisormustbeaccompaniedwiththe
loadingvehicletogiverequiredguidancetothevehicledriver.
6. Afterplacingthevehicleattheloadingpoint,theenginemustbeswitched
offtillthecompletionoftheloading.
LoadingConveyorplacement:
(Beforeshiftingconveyor,thesupervisormustensurethefollowing.)
1. AllthepersonsinvolvinginshiftingofconveyormustuseSafetyShoesto
avoidAccidentswiththeconveyorrollers.
2. SupervisorhastodothephysicalcheckingofPullChordSystemofthe
conveyortoEnsureinworkingcondition.
3. Supervisorhastodophysicalcheckingofmachineguardstoensurethat
theyareinplace.
4. Hehastoinspectthewayforsafeshiftingoftheconveyorwithout
disturbingtheexistingstacks.

LoadingthesugarBagstoContainer/TrucksfromtheStacks(Destacking):
1. Loadingconveyormustbekeptatleasttwometerdistancefromthestack
forsafemovementofthepeople.Bymaintainingsafedistancewecan
avoidthatfallingofpersonsontotheconveyorincaseofslipwhichmay
leadtomajoraccidents.
2. Destackingshouldbestartedandcontinuedonlyfromtheextremetop
layerofthestack
3. Bagsshouldnotbepulledfromthemiddlelayersofthestackwhichmay
leadtocollapseofthebags.
4. Bagsshouldnotbethrowndirectlyontotheconveyor.Bagsmustbe
pulledfromthestackandgiventotheshoulderoftheloadingpersonwho
willloadmanuallyontotheconveyor.
5. ThesupervisormustcontinuouslymonitortheDestackingprocedureand
givenecessaryguidelinestotheloadingpersontoensuresafety.

NOTE:
1.Walkways(aisles)shouldbemarkedonthefloorintherefinedsugarware
houseandwalkinginbetweenthestacksshouldbeavoidedstrictly.
2.Maximumnumberofstacksinthegodownistobefinalizedandmarking
needtobedoneaccordinglysothattheycanstackthebagsonlyinsidethe
markings.
