Documentation
A good introduction of oscillating circuits can be found in the work mentioned below:

First a word of warning: when you decide to buy an oscillating circuit offered at different
places by aware of unreliable reproductions.
An oscillating circuit consists of copper wire or tube in a ring shape which is
electrically open at one position. It is preferred to isolate the copper wire.
Preferably the insulation wire must is in transparent material.
Lakhovsky first invented an oscillating circuit based on a copper wire. Later he
improved it with multiple metals like copper and silver and other metals. However it is
better to have a oscillating circuit based on copper than having none.
