Thesis Title:

AVIATION MUSEUM
INTRODUCTION:
The traditional role of museums is to collect objects and materials of cultural,
religious and historical importance, preserve them, research into them and
present them to the public for the Purpose of education and enjoyment.
There is strong, positive emotional attachment to museums by both visitors
and non-visitors. Indeed, it appears that attitudes toward museums have
become more favorable over the last generation as they shed their image of
stuffiness and sterility and become more entertaining and interactive.
It enable people to explore the world and creating interactive experiences. It
boost the profile and reputation of an area and encourage investment. It
employing people directly and encourage tourism.
Therefore, I want to make such a museum which provide information about history, creating a
sense of place, identity and being the society attic. It would attract local and international tourists
and would provide the employment opportunities to the locals. The site of this museum would be
located in Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan.

REASON OF SELECTING THE TOPIC:


The reason of choosing this topic is to create the awareness as well as the interest
in the aviation history of Pakistan. As there is no proper aviation museum so I have
to create the museum in intend to realize the youth as well as the older generation
the values of aviation. For this purpose I selected the site of Sargodha which is said
to be the City of Shaheens and MM AALAM is also from the same city which made
the highest record of striking down the plans in the word. So giving my regards to
that land which give birth to those persons who are the gems of the nation. There is
no proper place to present gratitude to the national heroes. I intend to make a
history museum which would educate the people particularly about the aviation
history of Pakistan.

AIMS:
Provide information about history.
Being the society attic.
Attract local and international tourists.
Provide the employment opportunities to the locals.
Provide identity to Sargodha (City of Shaheens)

OBJECTIVES:
My intention is to make a museum building which would enable the people to revisit the old
times and become aware of the major events which occurred in the war of Pakistan.
