The community is holding several ceremonies and making new rules and leadership changes. A Ceremony of Twelve will be held to acknowledge 97 children as they receive their new jobs and assignments. Several people who broke rules will be sent to "elsewhere" at a Ceremony of Release. Jonas, now a Twenty, has been selected as the new Receiver of Memory. New rules prohibit those over age 20 from riding bikes and mandate waking up at 7 AM. The committee also created new comfort objects for children and selected Katie as the new Chief Elder.

the Ceremony of Twelve. In
todays ceremony, about 97
kids will be acknowledged for
their childhood. They will be
given their new jobs in their
new assignments.

Several people have broken
the rules stated by the
committee. As a result, they
will be sent to elsewhere.
Tomorrow everyone should
attend their Ceremony of
Release. They will also be lost.

We Have a New
Receiver of Memory
Jonas, who is now a Twenty, is
the communitys new Receiver
of Memory: He has been
assigned the most important
job in the society because we
believe that he contains the
key characteristics to be the
new Receiver, said the Chief
Elder. Congratulations Jonas.

The Committee Creates


New Rules
The community committee has presented a new rule stating that
all citizens that have surpassed 20 years of age cannot ride a bike
anymore. Instead of traveling by bike, they will have to travel by
foot. Everywhere they go, they will have to walk to get there. If
they are caught riding a motorcycle or a bike, they will be fired
from their job for a month. After their return, if they do it again,
they will be sent to elsewhere.
The Chief Elder, who is in command of this decision, did
this because she was informed by the committee that various
people were reported for stealing ocers motorcycles and bikes.
Citizens, after you reach the age of 20, your bikes would be
confiscated, and no protests are allowed, were the words of the
Chief Elders when applying this rule. The Chief Elders words are
clearly stated.
When youre a Nine you will receive your bike, but when
you are a Twenty your bike will be returned to the state. The
committee has selected these consequences because they believe

that those that were selected are fair. If you break the rules, it
doesnt matter who you are, what position are you, you will be
fired from your job. The committee will not accept any excuses
from the citizens, stated the Chief Elder. This rule highlights our
aspect of sameness. No one is dierent from the other.

New Comfort Objects


are Created
The committee has decided to
instruct the factory to create new
comfort toys. The factories have
created comfort toys that have
the visual aspect of various
mythical creatures such as:
Hippopotamus
Elephants
Crocodiles
Fish

We believe that the original


comfort toys that we have are
getting a bit too lame for our
societys youngsters, said the
Chief Elder. The comfort objects
will be removed when you are an
Eight.

The committee has also created a rule that commands that


all citizens must wake up everyday at 7:00 A.M. Our citizens
must start the day with energy, and they need to start the day
productively, was the Chief Elders opinion. Citizens that are
still in school years must leave for school at 7:45 A.M. They must
have what is assigned to them for breakfast at 7:15: We have
decided that 7:00 a.m is the adequate time our people should
wake up, because at that time the brain is ready for tasking, is
what the committee said. The Chief Elder has approved this
decision, because she considers this rule to be correctly
considered. These rules have been applied and there is nothing
you, citizens, can say or do to terminate them.

A New Chief Elder is Selected


The committee has selected a new Chief Elder. Katie,
who is a 25 now, will be the communitys next Chief Elder.
She contains the qualities of wisdom, intelligence, bravery,
and much more aspects. She will be the best Chief Elder
since the 1990s, said the current Chief Elder. Katie will be
the Chief Elder for the next 10 years. She will be removed
from her family unit, and she will take her place as Chief
Elder in the following month.

Your comfort object is assigned


to you as a toddler for you to
have something to cuddle with
and something to feel the sense
of safety with. Your comfort
object is removed because we
feel that you are already grown
up, and that we believe that you
can also be an independent
individual.
