EMPANELMENT OF CORPORATE VALUERS & GOVERNMENT APPROVED VALUERS


M/s Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, a Govt. of India Enterprise, wishes to empanel
Corporate Valuers & Government Approved Valuers for valuation of properties (for
Purchase / Sale / lease ) spread across the country.
The selection criteria for empanelment of Corporate Valuers & Government
Approved Valuers are as follows:
A. Criteria for selection of Corporate Valuers :
1. The valuer must be an individual / proprietorship firm / partnership firm.
2. The valuer must be member of any one of the professional valuer bodies viz. Institution
of Valuers, Institution of Surveyors (Valuation Branch), Institution of Govt. Approved
Valuers, Practicing Valuers Association of India, The Indian Institution of Valuers,
Centre for Valuation Studies, Research and Training, Royal institute of Chartered
Surveyors, India Chapter, American Society of Appraisers, USA, Appraisal institute USA
etc.
3. Educational qualification: Individual / firms proprietor/any 2 partners in case of
Partnership firm shall have Bachelors degree or equivalent in civil engineering /
architecture / town planning etc. from a recognized University. OR he/they should be a
Post Graduate in Valuation of Real Estates from a recognized University.
4. Work experience : Minimum 10 years work experience in the field of valuation of assets
related to the discipline viz. land, building, structures, plants & machineries, etc.
5. Valuer/s shall be an Indian Citizen.
6. Executed minimum 10 jobs in last 3 years ending on 31st March 2016, whose value of
asset is more than Rs. 5 Crs. Each
7. Valuer/s must have PAN no.
8. Registration / Empanelment with Central / State governments / municipal
corporations / other Public Sector Units as valuer is desirable but not compulsory.
B. Criteria for selection of Government Approved Valuers :
1. The valuer must be an individual / proprietorship firm.
2. The individual / firms proprietor must be registered under Section 34AB of the Wealth
Tax Act 1957. Registration shall be at least 5 years old on the date of application.
3. The valuer shall be a member of any one of the professional valuer bodies viz.
Institution of Valuers, Institution of Surveyors (Valuation Branch), Institution of Govt.
Approved Valuers, Practicing Valuers Association of India, The Indian Institution of
Valuers, Centre for Valuation Studies, Research and Training, Royal institute of

institute USA etc.

Last date for receipt of applications will be 16th August 2016 upto 3 p.m. Completed
application forms to be submitted in a sealed cover, super-scribing, EMPANELMENT OF

Valuers who are already empanelled with BPCL also need to resubmit their applications.
