Student created zentangle patterns in 4 circles, exceeding the expectations of creating patterns in 3 circles. The student used contrast, value, and different line types in their designs. Students will create 3 circles and include the following in each circle:

I exceeded expectations in this Artist used pattern and
category by making various
movement to create a variety of
patterns in 4 circles instead of
zentangle designs in 3 circles.

value using patterns and
contour lines.
I used a good amount of
contrast and value, I could have
had more value but I dont
think that value is super
necessary in a Zentangle. I used
different types of lines.
Artist used a variety of media:
I could have done better using
colored pencils, color markers different mediums than what I
and sharpies in her/his work.
am used to. I use Micron and
Stabilo pens a lot and didnt
really go outside my comfort
zone. I did use some colored
pencils though which is a
medium I dont use often.
