*1- the standard FR coverall issued by Celanese has an Arc Thermal Protection Value of
(ATPV) of 5.7 cal/cm2 combining with 100% cotton undergarments the arc rating for
the layer combination meets or exceeds 8 cal/cm2
**2- minimum arc rating of the flash suit shall be 40cal/cm2. Maximum rating of the flash
suit should be 65cal/cm2.
***3- undergarments used under FRC to enhance flash protection value shall be of 100%
cotton.
