Methodology

This chapter discusses the research available for the study and what is
applicable for it to use in response for the statement of the problem.

DATA GATHERING INSTRUMENT

In this study, descriptive research methodology with normative survey


was used. It is concern with the purposive process or gathering, analyzing,
classifying and tabulating data about prevailing condition practices,
process. Interview method was also conducted to ensure the responses to certain
questions intended to obtain data about the problem. With this method the
researchers was able to identify the solution for the existing problem. This also
gives information to improve the quality of the data and research finding.

VB or Visual Basic is a Programming tool that user to develop Windows


or GUI(Graphical User Interface) applications. It means that rather than
writing numerous line for code to describe the appearance and location for
interface elements like C, C++, or Basic. User can simply drag and drop pre-
built objects into the form window on computer screen.

VB is a enhanced version of BASIC programming language(NASIC is


Predecessor of VB)/ The main difference is that the VB can create windows
programs by just Drag & Drop where as BASIC could only create DOS
programs or work only in CUI (Command User Interface)

REQUEST REQUISITION QUESTIONAIRE

Below are the questions we ask to elicit information

(1) Does the barangay have an existing record system?


(Barangay Clearance, Certification, Cedula etc..)
(2) If yes, what kind of system is it?
(3) Is it easy to user friendly?
(4) What do you need for us to enhance the brgy existing system?
(5) If the answer is no in #1, how many residents everyday are
requesting for those documents?
(6) What document is mostly requested?
(7) How long does it take for you to issue those documents?
(8) Can you able to track fast those residents who have existing
records?
(9) Where do you store the records of the residents?
(10) Have you ever happened to lose such document?
