The difficulty level of this music will be best-suited for the intermediate to advanced player. Conceived for the Bb Trumpet or Cornet, the full range of the instrument is explored, from low Fi to high D. Many of the studies give ‘ample time to lyrical expression, much needed by all trumpet players. Technique is not overlooked. In these studies you will find double and triple tonguing, low register playing, challenging intervals, and key signatures that require intonation control of the instrument. | want to personally thank all of the composers who have contributed to this project. Thanks also to Jim Curnow, Tim Johnson, and staff at Curnow Music Press, and to David Henderson, our recording engineer.
