Project Title: Lighting up the Festival

A. Project Abstract: (Refer to the detailed information located in the proposal/letter of intent)
I have asked and will make sure that it is ok, to use the Shakespeare show Much Ado About Nothing organized by the Theatre Classes and will design the
lights for it/them. A cue sheet will be put together and placed in order of what effect shall go where as well as a light plot. The design should fit the scenes and the
mood of the scenes and should follow along. The Director will announce what play/s I will be using in January.
Lighting has had me interested since my Sophomore year when I first ran the lights for the kids production of The Wiz. Ever since I have loved running the
lights for other shows, meetings, and traveling shows. It was my junior year of when I learned about lighting design, creating the lights for a show, that I
immediately knew what I wanted to do with my life.

E. Product Justification: My product will provide how light can affect the mood of a scene. There will be two recording of each, showing one or two scenes of a
show during a non tech rehearsal and one during the show. This will show the difference in how lighting can affect the mood of a scene and the effect on the play.

G. Academic Integrity: I will be designing the lights and I will be the technician to work the lights. This will only leave the actors and the director with their work.
Any suggestions handed to me by the Director will be heard and any complaint will be listened to by the Director, Technical Director. I will use suggestions and
my own imagination to design these lights and not copy other ideas. There will be Pictures and Video of me working on the design.
