1. My Self
My name is Md. Ashikur Rahman Emon. I am a student of class five. I
go to school regularly. I live with my family. My fathers name is Md.
Azijur Rahman. He is a doctor. My mothers name is Irani Khatun. She
is a housewife. I have two elder brothers but no sister. My hobby is
gardening. In my leisure time I work in my garden. Cricket is my
favorite sport. I want to be a doctor in future.

2. My Family
My name is Md. Ashikur Rahman Emon. I am a student of class five. I
live with my family. There are six members in my family. My fathers
name is Md. Azijur Rahman. He is a doctor. My mothers name is Irani
Khatun. She is a housewife. She does all the works. I have two elder
brothers but no sister. There is another member in my family who is my
grandmother. She tells me funny stories. All of them love me very much.
I am proud of my family.

3. My Parents
Every man has parents. They are the source of our life. I have my
parents. My fathers name is Md. Azijur Rahman. He is 40 years old. My
mothers name is Irani Khatun. She is 35 years old. My father is a
doctor and my mother is a housewife. She does all the works. I have two
elder brothers but no sister. My parents take care of us. They never
neglect us. My parents are very busy. They are always working for our
future happiness. I love and respect them very much.

my grandmother. She takes care of our health and studies. She is very

5. My School
The name of my school is B.G.P. school, Magura. It is a south faces
school. It is situated beside the main road of Magura district. There are
two buildings in our school. There are total 25 class rooms. Each room
has two doors, four windows, one chair, one table and some benches.
About 1500 student read in our school. We have 30 teachers. All of them
are highly educated. The result of our school is good. I feel happy to
read in this school.

6. My classroom
I read in class five in B.G.P. school. There are many good class rooms.
Our class room is at the east corner of the building. It has two doors,
four windows. Sunlight can come easily into our class. There are 20 high
benches and 20 low benches for 50 students. There is a table and a chair
for teacher. We keep our class room neat and clean. Nobody can make a
noise in the class room. Here we enjoy our class very much. I feel proud
of our class room.
 7. My Reading Room
The room which is used for reading is called reading room. I read in
class five. I have a nice reading room. The room faces the south. It has a
door, two windows. I get more air and light in my room. I have also a
fan and a light in my room. There is a chair and a table. There is a book
self also. My reading room is dear to me. It is my bed room also. I
always keep it neat and clean. I feel comfortable in my reading room.

8. My Daily Routine
My name is Md. Ashikur Rahman Emon. I am a student of class five. I
read in B.G.P. school, Dhaka. I get up very early in the morning. Then I
say my Fajor Prayer. I read till 9 oclock. Then I take a bath. Then I take
my breakfast. After that I go to school. I come back from school at 4PM.
I take some rest. Then I go for play with my friend. I start my study
again at evening. After eating my dinner I go to bed for sleep at 10 PM.

09. My Village
The name of my village is Tallabaria. It is situated in the district of
Magura. There are one high school, four primary school, one madrasa
and a college in my village. My village is famous for its natural sights.
There is a good communication system in my village. There are about
five thousand people in my village. Most of them are Muslim. There are
farmer, teacher, day labours and businessman and government officers.

10. My Home town

The name of my home town is Magura. It is a big town. It has four

upazilas. There are some famous river, school, college and hospital.
There are also some old palaces. Now my home town is known to all
because of the great cricketer Sakib-All-Hassan. There are also some
famous persons. I love my home town very much. I shall not leave my
home town.

11. My Country / My Homeland

The name of my country is Bangladesh. It is my homeland also. It is a
small but populous country. It got independence in 1971. Dhaka is the
capital of my country. It has 64 districts. About 150 million people live
here. Most of them are Muslim. Its main crops are rice, jute, sugar-cane
and tea. Bangladesh is famous for Sundarban. It is a very beautiful
country. I love my country very much.

12. A Fire Fighter

The man who puts out fires from any fire occurrence is called fire
fighter. Fire fighters are the most valuable person in our society. They
protect our valuable life and property from fires. The well trained fire
fighter works on special group. They always wait for getting any news
about fire from the common people. Getting any news of fire they run
quickly to put out fire. The fire fighters lead very common life and
several times their lives become risky. They always run to rescue the fire
affected people. We should respect them.

13. Leisure Time

Leisure time means time free from work. A man should enjoy leisure
time. Routine work makes life boring. Different types of people spend
their leisure time by doing different works. In my leisure time, I usually
go for walks. If it is too hot, I sometimes go swimming in the river. I
love swimming. It keeps my body fit. I also work in my garden in my
leisure time. Everybody should enjoy their leisure time.

14. My Birthday
A birthday is a memorable day for all. People celebrate the birthday
on the date of their birth. The 11 July was my last birthday. I arrange a
birthday party in my house. I invite my friends and relatives. I and my
sister decorated our drawing room with balloons, posters, and colored
ribbons. My father brought a big cake. I put out the candles.
Everybody clapped and sang happy birthday to you, Emon. Then I
and my sister gave cake, sweets, foods to all. My friends and relatives
wished me and gave me various gifts. Really I celebrate my birthday
with joy and wait for the next one.

15. My Favourite Game

There are many games in Bangladesh. Among them cricket is my
favourite game. Nowadays, it is a common and popular game in
Bangladesh. In this game each team consist of eleven players. At
every afternoon I play cricket with my friends. I like it, because it is
an exciting game. At present Bangladesh is doing well in this game.
This game has already made Bangladesh popular among the cricket
lovers in the world.

16. Olympic Game

Olympic Game is the biggest sports competition of the world. It is the
greatest show on earth. More than two hundred nations participate in
it. Thousands of athletes from different countries take part in the
competition in different games. The tradition of Olympic Game
comes from Greece. There have been 29 Olympic Game so far. The
importance of Olympic Game is beyond imagination. It creates an
international brotherhood among the nations of the world.

 17. My Visit to the Liberation War Museum
A few days ago I went to the Liberation War Museum of
Segunbagicha. I went there on the occasion of our independence day.
My friends and our teacher went with me. We reached at the museum
at 8:30 a.m. All of us were very excited when we entered the
museum. We saw photographs, documents, newspaper clippings. We
were sad as we looked at the personal belongings of some of our
martyr. We left the museum at 2:30 p.m. We had a very clear
impression about our liberation war by visiting the museum. I felt
emotional after leaving the museum.

18. My Hobby or Gardening

Gardening is my hobby. I have my own garden in front my reading
room. It is rice in flower. I planted many kinds of flower plants. When
flowers bloom it looks very beautiful. I have fenced around it. I look
after it with great care and attention. I water the plant everyday. I loose
the soil, clean the grass. There are a lot of flower such as the rose, the
beli, the malati, the kamini etc. I love my garden very much.
