Heat Conduction Pipe Insulation

This document provides data and calculations to determine the heat loss from a 2 inch nominal pipe with 0.5 inches of insulation. It gives the fluid temperature inside the pipe, ambient temperature outside, and properties of the pipe and insulation. The calculations use this data to find the surface heat transfer coefficient, surface temperature, and heat loss per meter of the insulated pipe.
