I would like to apply for the post of Special Education Teacher Cum Assistant Teacher which
you have advertised in Jobstreet.com dated on 4 April 2017. I attach my resume for your
reference.

I am a fresh graduated from University of Science, Malaysia (USM), in Special Education


Studies. I wish to apply for a position as special education teacher in your organization. This
position is highly attractive to me, since you are offering on-the-job training to fresh graduate
such as myself. I believe that my training and interests match what you are looking for, and I
would be very enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to your organization.

I would like to express my strong interest in your special education teacher job opening. My
teaching practice during my fourth year of university has prepared me to a great extent for the
challenges and responsibilities of the working world. The experience have taught me the value of
patience and encouragement in the special education classroom. The most important thing is, I
love children. I work closely with each student, providing the individualized support and praise
they required. In addition, my ability to speak fluently in Malay and English, can certainly help
me to perform more smoothly. I was also quick to learn and easy to work in a team.
