Wire Size Calculation: Array Data Standalone Calculation

This spreadsheet has 3 sections to calculate wire sizing for photovoltaic and non-photovoltaic applications. The first section uses data from a power spreadsheet to calculate resistance, voltage drop, and required wire gauge. The second section allows manual input of values to perform the same calculations. The third section simplifies the process for non-PV wiring. Notes provide the temperature adjustment formula and describe where to input data, which affects the resistance calculation.

Wire Size Calculation

This spreadsheet has 3 sections. The first section uses the data as determined by the power spreadsheet.
This will then calculate the resistance and the voltage drop. The main reason we calculate all this stuf
And it's usually much colder that that around here that all winter. The second section is to make the same
Calculation, but by plugging in the values yourself. The third section is a much simplified version to help
calculate wiring for non PV applications. The places you enter data are purple.
