SOP 032 - QC Hoist Wire Rope Replacement - V 2.0

This standard operating procedure provides guidelines for replacing the QC hoist wire rope on ZPMC PanamaMAX quay cranes. It outlines a 24 step flow chart process with designated responsible personnel at each step. The purpose is to provide an effective solution to replace the hoist wire rope safely and in compliance with engineering policies and procedures. Key steps include confirming the need to replace based on condition records, bringing necessary tools and barricading the work area, removing the old rope and reeving the new rope through the drums and sheaves, and properly securing the new rope ends.
