Tutorial 6 Teaching Week 6 Climate Change (Environmental Issues)

This document outlines a tutorial on climate change and environmental issues. It provides 9 discussion questions for students to answer in groups. The questions cover topics like externalities, the tragedy of the commons, prisoner's dilemma, international agreements related to climate change, tools for managing externalities, and the Kuznets curve. Students are asked to read about the Kyoto Protocol, Agenda 21, and Greenpeace and briefly summarize key areas of focus. They also analyze news articles on climate impacts, renewable energy disruption, diesel bans in cities, and electric vehicles to identify any externalities. Finally, students reflect on the "Tuna-Dolphin Case" between Mexico and the US by applying concepts from the lecture.
