3D FPS(FIRST PERSON SHOOTER)

1. Objectives / Aim
• To develop a 3D Interface for the game.
• To create a first person camera view that
navigates through the 3D environment
• To use the concepts of 3D bullet trigonometry
• To develop score database and maintain high
scores.
• To add sound Effects , Start Screen & Victory
Graphics .

2. Innovativeness & Usefulness


• Gaming sharpens your reflexes, and instant
decision making (decide within a second) and
enhances manual dexterity.
• We aim at developing a game, which not only
challenges the instincts but also the intellect
of calculating the right moves.
• Application of multiplay over a network allows
more than one players to test their abilities
against each other.

3.Process Model
4.About the Game

• In 3D game animation, you can create special


effects with particles. A particle system is a
collection of small shaded objects that act
together as a group with a degree of
randomness. These systems may be used to
create smoke, fire, paint spray, snowfall, dust
storms, and more.
• It is a shooting game in which initially before
the start of each stage, the goal of the player
is shown beforehand.
• The Player cannot advance ahead in the game
without successfully crossing the current
hurdle .
• Obstructions such as Laser Guns , Logical
puzzles & Boss shall be encountered .
• The Player will be able to see its position, its
strength, and all the weapons available to it at
that instant.
• The main menu can be accessed at any point
of the game, and instructions for playing the
game can be viewed.
• Once the player successfully Completes the
game , his high score will be added to the
database . If the score corresponds to the
highest score , a congratulatory message is
displayed .
• If a player loses all his strength , the game
restarts.

5.Challenges

• Creating a game environment.


• Designing an efficient UI, first person HUD
(heads up display)
• Database Linking.
• Different Sound effects to be associated with
different actions & reactions.
• Exception Handling - To avoid any irrational
move that leads to disruption of the game.
• Debugging & Game testing : To remove any
discrepancies in game play.
