I recently found out that you have a position for an engineer open at your facility in Waterloo. I
am writing to introduce myself as a candidate for this position. I believe that I can offer your
business hard work and put myself up to the task as you need me too.

This resume will show and explain the experience I have and why I am interested in this job. I
have always been interested in engineering and the things that engineers do. Among the
highlights of jobs I have done in the past few years, I put engines into cars and trucks and put
vehicles together with my uncle, also we worked on many computers. This entails that I have
experience with how things are put together and how they work. This is a useful trait to have
while working as an engineer. Over the years in my high school career I have been continuously
praised by my teachers as adaptable and hardworking. These are both positive traits in the
engineering field.
