Sem 2 1617 - Test 1

The document is a test paper for a Power Electronics course consisting of 3 questions. Question 1 has 4 parts identifying power semiconductor devices, their operating characteristics, and whether they are triggered by voltage or current. Question 2 involves calculating output voltage and current waveforms for an AC-DC converter circuit. Question 3 examines waveforms and calculations for a controlled full-wave rectifier circuit, including output voltage, current, switch current, and absorbed power. Formulas for trigonometry, integration, average voltage/current, and effective voltage/current are also provided.
