Welcome to ______ High School Choral Department!

Dear Students and Parents,

We are thrilled to welcome you to the _______ High School music

family. Music adds so much to our daily lives and we are committed to
providing opportunities for all students to participate in the collective
experience of making music and growing in their passions and talents. This
handbook will go over all of the necessary details to ensure that we all have
the information needed to embark on the journey of making music together
during this school year.

We are committed to ensuring that all of our students have the

opportunity to explore their musical interests and grow as musicians and as
people. Our department hosts numerous events that give students the
chance to perform a wide range of musical styles in our school and in the
community. There are also opportunities for leadership and creativity
within the group, as we like our students to be involved in the process of
putting together these experiences every step of the way.

The collaborative nature of our department also extends to parents!

We are happy to have family members of our students help in any way they
are able and there are many opportunities to get involved. Check in with
Ms. Hoye or explore our department website for more information.

Communication is important to us at _______ High School. The choral

department website will be updated frequently with information on events,
special projects, and content from students. Email communication will also
be used for correspondence with parents.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work with your child.
We look forward to meeting you at our performances, at parent-teacher
conferences, or somewhere in the community. We welcome you and your
child with open arms to our family here at _______ High School.

Sincerely,
Jenny Hoye
