DESIGN PROBLEM :

A GROUP OF INVESTORS PLANS TO CONSTRUCT A MEDIUM SIZE HOTEL IN


MANILA CENTER, IT IS EXPECTED TO ACCOMMODATE LOCAL TOURIST, OUT OF TOWN
BUSINESS AS WELL AS FOREIGN TOURIST WHO WANTS TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE CITY LIFE
WITHIN THE HEART OF MANILA. THE GROUP EXPECTS THE DESIGN TO FUNCTIONALAND
EFFICIENT TO BE AT FAR WITH THE CHAIN OF HOTELS OPERATED BY THE GROUP
THROUGHTOUT THE COUNTRY AND ABROAD. THE FORM SHALL BE DESIGNED TO APPEASE AND
COMFORT THE EYE OF THE GUEST BUT ALSO TO CREATE A LANDMARK IN THE CITY THE SAID
SITE IS SURROUNDED BY DIFFERENT HOTEL AND RESTAURANT CHAIN.

DESIGN CONSIDERATION:

THE BUILDING SHALL DISPLAY POCKET GARDENS PRESENT AND VISIBLE OUTSIDE
AND INTERIOR PART OF THE STRUCTURE AND GUEST ROOM’S. VERTICAL GARDENS MUST BE
INCORPORATED BOTH IN AND OUTSIDE THE RECEPTION LOBBY AND LANDSCAPING
SURROUNDING THE STRUCTURES.
