Rubik’s Cube

Rubik’s cube is a 3D puzzle, was created in 1974 by Erno Rubik. Rubik’s cube, Also

called magic cube, This puzzle is one of the most sold in the world.

It consists of a cube with 6 faces, each face with 9 stickers of the same color, once

the cube is scrambled the goal of this puzzle is to put all the faces of the same color.

Kinds of rubiks cube

After buying the first Rubik's Cube, and learning how to solve it, people usually fall

in love with this game. After that they purchase a 4x4x4 because it's so cool and

bigger, then comes a Megaminx or a Pyraminx, and the Rubik's Cube Collection

goes bigger and bigger. Anyway if you have the money and you start collecting these

toys it is hard to stop because they are all so different, each and every one of them

meaning a unique challenge.

There are a lot of hard-working and really inventive custom puzzle designers out

there who always come up with something new. Don't forget to mention here Tony

Fisher and Oskar van Deventer who gave us so many new designs and thanks to

3D printing, these games became available for the masses.

Here a list of the most popular cubes:

3x3x3 rubiks cubes, Mirros Cube, Megaminx, 4x4x4 cube, 5x5x5, skewb, Square-1,

3x3x3 Mastermorphix.Pyraminx, snake, 1x1x3 cube, Gear cube, Void cube.

of course there are many more rubik cubes in the market, cubes as Clover

Octahedron Fragmentation. Ghost Cube. Time Machine.

How to solve a classic rubik’s cube.

First we need to understands the pieces of the Rubik’s cube. Pieces of the rubik’s

cube are 3:

Edge piece: pieces with 2 colors, There are twelve edge pieces located in the middle

rows.

Corner pieces: Pieces with three colors. There are eight corner pieces located on

the corners

And the Center pice: Pieces with one color. There are six center pieces located in

the center of each side, center pieces DO NOT MOVE and represent the color of

their side.

There are many methods to solve the rubik’s cube, but the most popular method to

solve the rubik’s cube is the Fridrich Method, created by Jessica Fridrich.

The method developed by Jessica Fridrich involves memorizing a lot of algorithms,

but there is a logical connection between them. After a lot of practice you will develop

the ability to execute these operations intuitively.

Steps of the Fridrich Method.

1. First of all we have to solve the white edge pieces in the bottom. This seems to

be the easiest but it's really hard if you want to do it right. You should be able to
determine all the rotations needed to complete the white cross after inspecting the

cube, and you'll succeed only if you foresee 7 steps.

2. When the cross is done we solve the first two layers (F2L) in one step using a

technique to pair the white corner and second layer edge pieces. We are talking

about four corner blocks which usually require 4x7 steps.

3. Orienting the last layer (OLL) of the Rubik's Cube is the step in which we solve

the yellow face without matching the side colours. We are going to position them in

the next step. Learn all the 57 algorithms to complete this step.

4. Permutate the last layer (PLL) to finish the solution of your cube. There are 21

algorithms to memorize.

competitive Speedcubing

The World Cube Association (World Cube Association) governs competitions of

puzzles , and other puzzles that are rotated and are known by the name of

'sequential puzzles'. Among them, the most popular is the Rubik's Cube, invented

by Professor Rubik's Cube of Hungary. The WCA employs a selection of these

puzzles for your official evidence.

The World Cube Association organises competitions all over the world supported by

national organizations that are responsible for the logistics of these competitions in

their countries.

The objective of the World Cube Association is to celebrate

more competitions in more countries with more people and more fun in a fair and

equitable basis.

The spirit of the World Cube Association is that

people from all over the world Have fun together in a friendly environment, help each

other and behave sportingly.

On the page of the WAC you can consult the results of all the tournaments officiales,

also it is possible to see the world, state and national records.

At present the world record him belongs to SeungBeom Cho with 4. 59 seconds.

but the world average record belongs to Feliks Zemdegs, with an average of 5.80

seconds

Some interesting facts

There are 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 (43 quintillion) ways to scramble a Rubik’s

Cube

If there was one cube scrambled for every permutation and they were laid end to

end they would stretch approximately 261 LIGHT YEARS the extra permutations

from assembling the cube in an unsolvable state

If you were to turn a Rubik’s Cube once every second, it would take you 1.4

TRILLION YEARS to go through all the permutations. If you took into consideration

all the extra permutations from assembling the cube in an unsolvable state

God's algorithm is a notion originating in discussions of ways to solve the Rubik's

Cube puzzle, but which can also be applied to other combinatorial puzzles and
mathematical games It refers to any algorithm which produces a solution having the

fewest possible moves, the idea being that an omniscient being would know an

optimal step from any given configuration.

In conclusion the rubik bucket is an incredible jigsaw puzzle, which if you dedicate

little time is not difficult to arm since simply there is the algorithms are learned to be

able to solve it. Once you can already arm it, it can be useful to relax, instead of

buying to you a spinner, buys a rubik bucket. It is more entertaining.

There exists the whole world of buckets of rubik who created the persons should

know, or almenos know of its existence since it is very interesting.

In conclusion the rubik bucket is an incredible puzzle that is not difficult to solve if

you dedicate little time. Once you learn to solve it, it can be very useful to relax in

moments of stress.
