Floor Hardener

This document provides specifications for a non-metallic floor hardener. It specifies that the hardener shall be made of natural aggregates blended with cement and resin mortars with a minimum abrasion resistance of 9 Mohs hardness. It shall have a minimum adhesive strength of 4.5 kg/sq.cm and provide chemical resistance at least 4 to 6 times greater than an untreated surface while producing a non-slip and non-dusting surface. The hardened surface shall also be coated with two coats of dust-proofing epoxy resin sealer.

Floor hardener

Non-metallic floor hardener shall be of natural aggregates blended with cement and resin mortats
with abrasion resistance complying with ASTM C779/C779M-00.

Standard hardeness of 9 mohs minimum

Adhesion of minimum 4.5 kg/sq.cm

Chemical resistance of at least 4 to 6 times greater than untreated serface and shall produce non-
slip and non-dusting surface. Surface of hardener shall be coated with two coats of dust proofing
epoxy resin sealer.
