The experience of attending the performance at the elegant Walt Disney Concert Hall was both visually and musically pleasing. Additionally, some band and orchestra students performed for junior high schoolers at a science event, playing songs like Pixar's Up theme, in hopes of inspiring them to pursue music.

Symphonies for Schools
MARK YOUR As in previous years, band and orchestra CALENDARS students had looked forward to the annual “Symphonies for Schools” at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown March 26-28 Los Angeles. However, this year was Spring Trip unique as the National Public Radio broadcasted the performance. The April 19 students enjoyed amazing performances Booster Meeting by musicians such as Ray Ushikubo, an exemplary pianist, and John Gonzalez, 6 p.m. who played the bassoon beautifully. April 21 Even more incredible and inspiring to the band and orchestra members was that Recycle 4 Music many of these accomplished musicians and composers are high school students. 8:30 a.m.
Symphonies for Schools at the Walt April 22
Disney Concert Hall was an experience that was both visually and audibly pleasing Cherry Blossom to the students, whether it was the elegant architecture outside the concert hall, Festival or the stunning music pieces heard inside the concert hall. April 25 Sounds of Music Some Enchanted A handful of band and orchestra students performed for junior high schoolers at Evening Tech Mark Keppel’s annual Science Field Day, while another student explained the April 27 physics behind the production of music. Music performances included well-known songs, such as Pixar’s Up Theme and classical pieces, such as “Canon in D.” The Some Enchanted junior high school students enjoyed the performances and were hopefully inspired Evening XIII to pursue music at their school and eventually in high school!
