MSEDCL is implementing & promoting various initiatives like Make in India, Ease of doing
business in order to provide expeditious & hassle free services to industrial consumers by
simplifying the process of getting new connection with minimum documents required for both
online and offline process in order to provide better consumer satisfaction of services which one
avails.

However, this office is in receipt Letter from Industry, Energy and Labor Department, GoM for
perception survey to be carried out under Ease of Doing Business for the list of consumers
whose new connection released from period of 1st September 2016 to 31st August 2017 between
100KVA TO 200KVA. Accordingly, the list of consumers along with survey checklist consisting
of different question for which consumer avail services was mailed to the concerned circle
offices.

However, DIPP, Gov of India will conduct the survey from above checklist for the list of
consumers which are availing the services. The purpose of the survey is for Ranking of State
under the Ease of Doing Business for obtaining the new electricity connection. In order to
improve the ranking of state, get positive response from consumer and Electrical contractor it is
required to conduct meeting with the Electrical contractor, consumer at circle level so as to create
the awareness of Ease of Doing Business, Ranking of State, importance of the Perception survey
at the earliest.
