Anticipatory Set:

Review/Introduce. Review prior knowledge and skills from previous school year level. Assess and evaluate pre- requisite
skills that students are required to have before beginning the first chapter. Apply math drills to enhance and build up math
skills. Begin with an introduction to algebra and making connections of real-life situations to algebra. Give real world
examples: relationships with numbers, finding heights, volume of a glass, waves, etc.

Engaging the student in learning the content:


Students will be expected to be prepared for class, participate in class activities and actively engage in class discussion.
Students will normally turn in written assignment (Practice Homework) at the end of each lesson.

Fractions: All operations of fractions, 1 day each for addition, subtraction, division, and subtraction.

for division. Converting decimal to fractions and fractions to decimals 1 day.
