1.0 FIRE FIGHTING.

SYSTEM

1.1 Fire Hydrants

1.1.1 Providing & fixing Fire hose reel box suitable to accommodate for 2
nos of landing valves of 15 m long canavs hoses, (Approx 0.75 m Each 52
(high) x 0.75 m (wide) x 0.3 m (deep) ).

1.1.2 Providing & fixing gun metal fire hydrant double landing valve with
80 / 100 mm N.B. flanged inlet, brass spindle controlled 63 mm dia
female instantaneous outlet including orifice plate as required and Each 52
flanged tapping from wet riser complete as required.

Note:- Orifice Plate outlet pressure should not excced more than
3.5 kg/cm²

1.1.3 Supply, Fixing, testing & commissioning the inbuilt PRV complete
with flanges & all necessary fitiings. The inlet pressure as applicable.
The outlet pressure shall be 3.50 kg/sq cm.

1.1.3a 80 mm dia Nos. R.O.

1.1.3b 100 mm dia Nos. R.O.

1.1.3c 150 mm dia Nos. R.O.

1.1.4 Providing & fixing swinging type First Aid hose reel drum with 30 mts
long and 20 mm dia heavy duty rubber water hosewith with 5 mm
outlet gunmetal / SS nozzle with shut off valve(I.S. 884-1969) Nos. 52
complete with MS socket for tap-off, drum and brackets for fixing on
wall complete as required.

1.1.5 Providing and fixing 63 mm dia canvas hose including SS male and
female instantaneous type coupling approved by fire authority,
machine wound with copper wire complete in all respects.Hose shall
conform to IS 636 Type II and coupling to IS 903 -1975 ( ISI marked)

1.1.5.a 7.5 m length Nos. R.O.

1.1.5.b 15 m length Nos. 104

1.1.6 Providing and Fixing 63 mm dia instantaneous pattern branch short SS


pipe, 20 mm dia SS nozzle suitable for inter connection to SS hose
pipe coupling complete as required. ( ISI marked) Nos. 52
1.1.7 Providing and fixing standard firemans axe with heavy rubber
Nos. 52
handle.
