CONCRETE ADMIXTURES
Dr. Fixit Pidicrete CF 51 is a highly effective accelerating, water reducing liquid admixture with no added chlorides. It provides a
significant improvement in initial setting time & workability without any bleeding & segregation. Dr. Fixit Pidicrete CF 51 is suitable for
placing concrete in low temperature conditions and where early de-shuttering is required to speed up the work without affecting the
strength of the concrete.
SPECIFICATION : Meets the requirement of IS:9103 - 1999 and ASTM-C-494-86, Type C & E.

AREA OF APPLICATION:
Low temperature concrete
Concrete block and mortar
Precast and reinforced concrete
Concrete pipes
Brick laying mortar mixes
Tremie concrete for moderate pours

FEATURES & BENEFITS:


Reduces setting time depending on the dose and ambient temperature
Reduces water upto 15 %
Improves workability at a given w/c ratio
Provides highly cohesive concrete mix without any bleeding and segregation
Helps to achieve high early strength, hence reduces time required for de-shuttering
Helps in reducing cement content for a required strength
Reduces construction cost - no delay due to cold weather, use of OPC instead of rapid hardening cement

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
The correct quantity of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete CF 51 should be measured with recommended dispenser and should be thouroughly
dispersed with approx. 5 - 10 % of the recommended water content (based on mix design by weight.)
Mix concrete constituents along with balance approx. 90 - 95 % of the recommended water content (based on mix design by weight)
for 3 minutes.
As soon as step 2 is over, the admixture dispersed in water (as in step-1) is to be added to the wet concrete and mix it further for
2-3 minutes to get a homogeneous mix.

PRECAUTIONS & LIMITATIONS :
• Dr. Fixit Pidicrete CF 51 should not be added in dry mixes under any circumstances
• If used for cement reduction without loss in strength, the dose of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete CF 51 will depend on mix design.
• Overdosing may lead to very early setting of concrete.
• Dr. Fixit Pidicrete CF 51 is non-toxic and inflammable. When in contact with skin, it can be washed with water.
