Dear Ms. Bella,

Sub: Response to termination of Contract XXXXX – Silver refining unit


Ref: Your letter dated XX-XX-197X

Thank you for writing to us. We have received your letter regarding the termination
of the contract signed between our company and Ms. Doris Templeton. It took us by
surprise how the series of unfortunate things have unraveled.
We would like to bring to your notice that our company went forward with the
contract under the impression that Ms. Templeton possessed all the required clearances
from the higher management of The New Way Printing Company. We had no cognizance of
the said fraud and at no point would have had gone ahead with the signing if we had known
beforehand.
Since such acts do not resonate with our values and ethics, we are hereby
terminating the contract immediately. The silver refining unit that was supplied under loan
shall be removed from your company premises under the supervision of our representative
at the earliest. We extend full support to you in rectifying this problem.
We deeply regret the fact that the initial relationship between the two companies
had to be on such a note. Since the idea of reclaiming and refining silver from the waste
product proves beneficial to both parties, we firmly believe that an opportunity for a
healthy business relationship exists in the future.
