Shell Prelude Factsheet

Prelude is now operating as an FLNG facility and can run its utilities on natural gas instead of diesel after importing LNG. An LNG carrier called the Gallina berths alongside Prelude and connects its offloading arms to transfer LNG. The offloading arms can rotate and swivel to follow the motion of the ships at sea. The LNG moves through pipes and storage tanks, with Prelude having six tanks that can each hold 38,000 cubic meters of LNG, and four tanks are now full.
