GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY, BACHELORS IN VITALS ELEMENTARY EDUCATION & SPECIAL EDUCATION 31225 Tom Woodard RD I have taken course for a dual major at GCU and throughout the time with them I have been able to maintain a 3.0 or higher. Angie, LA 70426 T 985-750-0410 SUMMARY E megmae06@yahoo.com I have been a substitute teacher for the past 7 years with the Washington Parish School System, I have mainly worked at Thomas Elementary. A few years back I had to sit in for a fifth- grade teacher most of the school year and during my that school year I learned how to properly manage a classroom, set it up, and how to grade the papers according to the school systems regulations. During the 2017/2018 I was asked to come work as a day by day substitute for a student with special needs. This was an amazing experience, working with the behavioral analysis and many others I learned many techniques. These techniques included how to properly talk to students who have disabilities, 2 how to calm them down during a fit, how to help them to write, MEGAN GRANGER and so much more. I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with this ELEMENTARY TEACHER/ SPECIAL student and learning firsthand experience. My time at Thomas EDUCATION TEACHER Elementary school has been full of lessons and memories and I cannot wait to continue these in the coming years. I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a bachelors in elementary education and special education. While attending college I have maintained a GPA around a 3.35.
