GUIDELINES & MECHANICS

I. INTRODUCTION

The "Miss IBP 2018" is a wit, talent and beauty inside and out search of the female members of
Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

The candidates will compete on the following categories:

 Beach Wear Competition (excludes swimsuit)


 Production Number
 Long Gown Competition
 Question and Answer

II. QUALIFICATION

The Search is open to single female who meet the following minimum requirements:

 A bona fide member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines whose chapter membership
belongs to Western Visayas Region.
 With pleasing personality.

III. MECHANICS

Each candidate will compete in the following categories:

 Beach Wear Competition - in this category, candidates will be required to wear


the beach attire of their choice that highlights their physical beauty to satisfy the
criteria of Figure (40%), Style and Fitting (10%) and Poise & Bearing (50%).

 Long Gown Competition - candidates must show proper poise and bearing while in their
Long Gown. They will be rated based on Design and Fitting (50%) and Poise & Bearing
(50%).

 Production Number – Candidates must show grace and confidence during the short
dance and introduction number. They will be rated based on Dance Performance (50%)
and Poise and Bearing (50%)
 Interview Segment – Each candidate will be given one question to answer and the
answer will be rated according to its relevance, substance, & value to the question given.

 Candidates will be rated based on the following criteria:

 Intelligence - 40%
 Beauty of Body & Face - 30%
 Poise & Personality - 20%
 Over-all Impact – 10%

 The Top Two (2) Candidates will be declared as Ms.IBP 2018 and 1st Runner Up
 The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

IV. AWARDS

The following Special Awards will be given to candidates that garnered the highest score on
each category:

1. Best in Production Number


2. Best in Beach Wear
3. Best in Long Gown

The Major Awards are the following:

1. Miss IBP 2018

2. 1st Runner Up

V. RULES AND REGULATIONS

 The names of the contestants should be submitted to the competition committee (c/o Atty.
Saykeme Martelino at 09187587775 or saykeme@yahoo.com) not later than February 7,
2018 .

 The contestants should attend the rehearsals, which is scheduled on February 9, 2018 at
1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Fellowship Venue. Drawing of lots for the candidates
will be done immediately before the start of the rehearsals.

 During the production number, the contestants will introduce themselves. The contestants
are therefore advised to prepare a brief introduction spiel (maximum of 30 seconds).

 For the Interview segment, the questions will be given on the spot. The contestants will
be given 30 seconds to answer.

 In the tabulation of scores, ranking system will be used. The rank of the contestants in
each of the segments will be added. The lower the total, the higher the final rank.
