Body
- In their teams, students access Google Document (via
Weebly) with the description and nomination form for each
roles.
- After having a brief read, students nominate what role they
wish to be responsible for during the SEPEP season – They
must have a coach, and fill all other roles (depending on
numbers)
- Students are to access the class Weebly to find a more
detailed description of what their role is, as well as some
useful tools they can use to complete this role.
Specific Roles:
Coach – During this time, the coach should be guiding
students into the correct roles and ensuring they are aware
of what their responsibilities are. They can also be thinking
of warm up ideas, and what positions each students will play
Publicity/media manager – During this time, the publicity
officer will be preparing the program/platform in which the
team will use to access and present information. A platform
is to be organised for fixtures to be uploaded for the
upcoming tournament.
Festivities/creative manager– During this time, the festivities
manager can be organising potential themes, names, colours
and awards in which the team will use during the season.
Conclusion
- Students remain in their teams
- Briefly debrief and ensure all students are aware of their
responsibilities and they are ready for the tournament for
the following week. Are there any questions?
- Remind students to complete required tasks prior to next
week, such as having a platform set up and all team
identification completed (photos, names etc.)
