Environmental Issues and Availability of Labour

Pests, soil fertility, and drainage/irrigation are three key environmental issues affecting agriculture. Pests can negatively impact crop and livestock performance if not properly managed through integrated pest management. Soil needs nutrients to support plant growth, and adding organic manure or inorganic fertilizer can improve fertility. Proper drainage systems are important for removing excess water from the land and facilities, while irrigation systems ensure adequate water delivery to plants and animals.

Environmental Issues and Availability of Labour

In agriculture, environmental issues refer to the various factors affecting the practice of
cultivating crops and rearing livestock. Some of these issues are pests, fertility of the soil,
wasteful water consumption, drainage and irrigation, soil erosion and degradation and climate
among others.
How and why are these problems and solutions to the problem?
