Qualifications: (i) For all Discipline in general: UG, PG and Ph.D. should be in the
respective disciplines of Engineering, Technology, Science,
Humanities & Social Sciences, Business Administration and
Computer Applications.
(ii) For the Discipline of Engineering: First class both at UG and PG
level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA) from the recognized University/Institute
and Ph.D. is desirable.
(iii) For the Discipline of Science/ Humanities & Social Sciences/
Business Administration/ Computer Applications: First class both
at UG and PG level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA) from the recognized
University/Institute and Ph.D. in the respective discipline.
Consolidated remuneration: (a) For those with Ph.D. – Rs. 50,980/- per month.
(b) For those with Master Degree (M.E./M.Tech. or
equivalent Rs. 40,000/- per month.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. The appointment is purely temporary for one semester and extendable further
depending on the performance as per Government/Institute Norms.
2. This position does not confer any right on the applicant to claim either continuous
employment or permanency in future.
3. The eligibility, qualifications/experience etc. for all the posts shall be determined as
on the last date of receipt of application forms.
4. Incomplete applications/applications without necessary enclosures will summarily be
rejected.
5. The Institute reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process of temporary faculty
in partial or full without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

6. All Degree Certificates should be from recognized Universities / Institutes. Further,
candidates must attach conversion criteria of CGPA to percentage (%) from the
University/Institution/Board.
7. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of submitted information, other
documents and photograph. Furnishing of any false information and/or suppression/
concealment of facts shall lead to rejection/cancellation of selection/recruitment.
8. Mere fulfillment of the required qualifications and experience etc., does not entitle a
candidate to be called for interview/selection. Short listing criteria for calling for
interview may be higher than those advertised.
9. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a
reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience, higher than those
prescribed in this advertisement, and as per merit decided by scrutiny committee.
Criteria for short-listing may vary from department to department.
10. Candidates will have to appear for the interview at their own cost, if called, before the
Selection Committee.
11. All original documents will have to be produced at the time of interview for verification.
12. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any
reason.
13. No correspondence, whatsoever, will be entertained from the candidates regarding
postal delays, conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for
interview or selection, etc. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification for the
post.
14. The applicants are required to visit the Institute website regularly as any subsequent
corrigendum/addendum etc. shall be published on the Institute website only.
15. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The date of interview will be
intimated in the Institute website.
16. The selected candidates will be required to join immediately.
17. The decision of the competent authority will be final in the matter of selection.
18. Any dispute regarding the recruitment will fall under the jurisdiction of District
Kurukshetra.

as available in the Institute Website. Candidates can download the same from the
website www.nitkkr.ac.in.
2. Please mention Post Applied and Department on the left-top corner of the envelope
containing the application. Separate applications are to be submitted for each Post
Department and Discipline.
3. Application form and summary sheet complete in all respects along with self attested
photocopies of certificates should reach “The Registrar, National Institute of
Technology, Kurukshetra-136119 (Haryana) on or before 27.06.2017
by 5:30 pm. Applications received after last date (due to Postal / Courier delays, etc.)
will not be considered.
