Art I Color

Students will learn about color theory and the color wheel. They will understand that primary colors are the bases for all other colors and that different color schemes are created using the color wheel. Students will experiment with color mixing and creating artwork using various color schemes like monochromatic, analogous, triadic, and split-complementary. The ultimate goal is for students to create 3 individual pieces of artwork demonstrating their understanding of color theory and different color schemes.
