ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA soRoRtTY——
MITTALS
Revised August, 1977EVTRODUCTION
There are many similarities which have bonded the
mombers of Alpha Kappa Alpha together in the
loving grasp of sisterhood, These bonds have
been cemented with pride, love, joy, fait, com-
mon interests, friendship, and sisterly concern,
There is still another bond which many believe to
bbe our strongest link--the vows which are made by
each member of ouy Sorority, These solem pro-
mises sot only bind os one to another, but also te
3 common goal.
Our rituals have been prepared with Love and devo-
tion} because of thie they have successfully withstood
the test of time. Yes, changes have been made io
some instances, but these changes reflected a need
to alter the method bat never the underlying thought.
Our rituals represent one of many vital links which
have kept our organization alive and healthy,
Recause our rituals represent the aptritual founda-
Hon of the Sorority, they should be revered and
hold in the highest esteem. ‘They must (in the
physical sense) be protected by the chapter.
Although they are not disteibuted to individual sorors, E
it is the responsibility of each member to make the fy
solemn promises of devotion of a living example of
true sisterhood end service.TABLE OF CONTENTS
