The goal of this exercise is to work a quick rebound stroke. At most speeds, this should be approached with two
rebounded, yet quick wrist motions with a relaxed middle and back of the hand to allow for finger control.

The purpose of this exercise is to work on two notes for one wrist motion. Allow the stick to bound twice and
be aware of the pressure in the middle of your hand. Sound quality of the second diddle and rhythmic accuracy
are very important here. Remember, your wrists are always playing 8th notes in this exercise!

Ski-Diddle works on differentiating heights and the paradiddle concept. We start by keeping multiple bounce stickings
low throughout and building to the paradiddlediddles at the end. Be sure to feel the the dotted quarter note spaces and
play accurate 16th notes throughout the exercise.
