(What You Need to Know About Auto Accidents)
In case of an accident
Here’s what to do if you are involved in an accident.
Assist the injured. Administer first aid, if you are trained to do so. Get help
for the injured as quickly as possible.
Report the accident by calling Emergency Services (dial 110), immediately. If this is not
possible, ask a bystander to contact Emergency Services and report the
accident. Use a telephone or mobile phone to call, or have a passing
motorist call and report the traffic accident on your behalf.
Always provide your name and full description of the accident and/
or emergency.
Not speeding;
Staying alert;
Giving other drivers plenty of room;
Not tailgating;
Keeping your eyes and attention focused on the road;
