GL Cross Validation Rules

General Ledger Cross-Validation rules define valid and invalid segment value combinations. They prevent invalid code combinations from being created in journals, inquiries, and reports. Cross-validation rules are linked to flexifield structures and determine which segment value pairs are invalid, regardless of user responsibilities. The document outlines the prerequisites and steps for defining cross-validation rules, including enabling the feature for a flexifield structure, entering rule details like name, description, elements to include or exclude, and testing the rules.
