DELVIT CAST
-Affection of the distal 3rd of tibia and fibula
1. BODY CAST
-Lower lumbar spine

5. DOUBLE HIP SPICA CAST


-bilateral affection of the hip and femur
2. QUADRILATERAL CAST
-Affection of # femur

6. BASKET CAST
-to immobilize foot, knee and ankle while allowing
wound for exposure.
3. 1 ½ HIP SPICA CAST -for severe or massive bone injury
-Pelvis and hip affection
7. FUNCTIONAL CAST 10. SINGLE HIP SPICA POSTERIOR MOLD
-affection of shaft of humerus. Allow flexion and -immobilize injuries and reconstructive surgeries of
extension of the upper extremity. the pelvis, hip, joint, and areas of the knee infection,
open wound and swelling.

8. FROG CAST
-Congenital hip dislocation 11. SHORT ARM CIRCULAR CAST
-affection of the wrist and fingers
LONG ARM CIRCULAR CAST
-affection of the radius and ulna

9. SHOULDER SPICA CAST


-affection of the upper portion of the humerus
(recurrent dis.)
12. CYLINDER CAST
-fx of patella
CYLINDER POSTERIOR MOLD
-affection of the patella infection, open wound and
swelling

-Upper dorsal spine for Pott’s dse. and scoliosis.

-affection of tibia and fibula -affections on radius ulna with infection, open
wound and swelling.

2. 90-90 degrees LOWER EXTREMITY


TRACTION
Indication: displaced femoral fracture
Classification: 5. BRYANT’S TRACTION
Indication: congenital hip dislocation # femur for
below 6 y.o.
Classification: skin traction/adhesive type
6. HAMMOCK SUSPENSION TRACTION
Indication: pelvis region
Classification: skin traction
10. HEAD HALTER TRACTION
Indication: cervical spine affection
Classification: skin traction/non-adhesive type

7. BUCK EXTENSION TRACTION


Indication: affection of femur and hip
Classification: skin traction/adhesive-nonadhesive
type
11. PELVIC TRACTION
Indication: lumbo-sacral affection (HNP)
Classification: skin traction/non-adhesive type

8. BOOT LEG CAST TRACTION


Indication: post polio w/ residual paralysis
Classification: special type of traction 12. HEAD HALTER/PELVIC GIRDLE
- non-adhesive lumbar affection
- severe cervical sprain, cervical strain, torticollis,
mild cervical trauma, potts dse.

9. DUNLOP TRACTION
Indication: supracondylar fracture humerus
Classification: Skin adhesive type
