CE 221 – CIVIL ENGINEERING METHODS

Notice your mistakes in Assignment II.

You are supposed to reproduce the Architectural drawing prepared in Assignment II, in AutoCAD. You need
to address all the comments and eliminate your mistakes in the previous drawing. Also, check the planning
and building regulations, making a check list.

AutoCAD 2014 version.

Assignment is due in two weeks. For delayed submissions 10% of received marks will be deducted.

Marking Criteria for Engineering Drawing Assignment III (AutoCAD Drawings)

1 Application of building regulations 25 marks


2 Drawing at the Modal View on 1:1 scale 25 marks
3 Use of Layers to Organize Drawings 10 marks
4 Proper Material Representations (hatching if needed) 10 marks
5 Dimensions 10 marks
6 Scale down and import to the Layout View 10 marks
7 A-2/A-1 size Printable Drawing at a Layout View 10 marks
Total 100 marks
