The Flammable Range (Explosive Range) : Gas Lower Explosive or Flammable Limit (%) Upper Explosive or Flammable Limit (%)

The document defines the flammable range or explosive range as the concentration of a gas or vapor that will burn or explode if an ignition source is introduced. It notes that below the lower limit the mixture is too lean to burn and above the upper limit the mixture is too rich to burn. It then provides a table listing common gases and their corresponding lower and upper flammable or explosive limits in percentages.
