Digitization for Swiggy

ABOUT THE COMPANY


SWIGGY is a food ordering and delivery company based out of Bangalore, India. It was
inspired by the thought of providing a complete food ordering and delivery solution from
the best neighborhood restaurants to the urban foodie. A single window for ordering from
a wide range of restaurants, they have their own exclusive fleet of delivery personnel to
pick-up orders from restaurants and deliver it to customers. Having an own fleet gives
them the flexibility to offer customers a no minimum order policy on any restaurant and
accept online payments for all partner restaurants that we work with.
ROLE
1) You will be getting the images of Restaurant Menus in the Awign
app/Workboard as leads.
2) You have to do the complete transcription of the menu images in the Awign
app in the given timeline.
The digitization of the given lead:

● Open the allocated lead in the Awign app or in workboard.awign.com.

● Open the link to the drive folder of the lead to get the menu.

● Do the transcription of the required Parameters & save your data for every entry.

● Change the lead status to “Submitted”.


VARIATION 1: Quantity wise

For an item if different prices are given


for half and full items it should be
transcribed in the form of variation: (
The price of half is considered as the
base price and that of full is just the
variant amount)
VARIATION 1: Size wise

If in the menu an item is mentioned in a variation of size then


the lower amount is the base amount and the price for the next
size is just the difference between the base amount and that
portion amount.

eg: Veg biryani =60


Half=0
Full=(100-60)=40
VARIATION 2: Item wise

Whenever one row of the Menu contains choice between 2 or more items, they would be represented as
different items.

Item name- Fried rice/Noodles/Spaghetti

Item price - INR 150/170/180

It will be represented as:

Item Name Price

Fried Rice 150

Noodles 170

Spaghetti 180
Variation of Item:
In the menu there is a choice of item as variation,
According to the image Kadai can be served as
paneer, mushroom and chicken. Hence it will be:

Kadai Paneer=80
Kadai Mushroom=90
Kadai Chicken=100
Variation 3: Combo & Thali

● Combo:
The price for the Burger combo (Mcveggie) is 200 but with the Mc maharaja burger the price is 220. So there is an increase of
20.

Category name: Combos

Item name 1: Burger combos.

Description: Choice of Burger + fries+coke

Next 2 rows would contain burger variations.

Note that in these rows:

Variant group name would become - Choice of Burger.


● Thalis:
For a menu with thalis it will be transcribed
as shown below.

Other Rules
● In case of Non veg boneless items, always ensure that the word- “ Boneless” would come as a
prefix. e.g. if there is an item name - Chicken Tandoori Boneless, It will always be - Boneless
Chicken Tandoori.

● Add ons: You must mention Add ons given in a menu after transcribing all the items in that
category.

● If the menu contains timings, then timings should be mentioned in the category name.

● If any quantity/size is given for one item- it should be mentioned with the Item name itself.
e.g. If there is an item named - Coke having quantity 500 ml, mention this as- Item name: Coke
(500ml)

● If more than one prices are given for one item on the basis of its quantity, then you have to create
variation for the item & variation names will always come in “Item Name” field not in
description.

● For Pizza items Variation will be made on the basis of the size of pizza. Every pizza
item will be transcribed as separate items with their respective prices.
