Name: PRASSANTH IYAPPAN Project Title: MAKING A WEBSITE

Grade: 7D Duration:

Statement of Inquiry:
"Innovation shows different ways to adapt and progress in market trends.."

Introduction: Websites, Blogs, Social Networking Sites are useful tools for
spreading awareness. Though they are relatively new mediums, revolutionized the
way we learn and share information.

Criteria for success:

 Identify a person/or a group for whom you are going to design a

solution .

 Identify and justify the topic on which you want to work on.

 Make the product/solution.

 Document the entire process and complete your design folder.

A short note about Design Folder:

As you progress through the different stages of the design cycle, you are constantly experimenting with ideas,
researching topics, compiling sources, brainstorming issues, sketching possible solutions, making changes,
rejecting proposals and critically evaluating your work. All relevant activities and outcomes should be recorded,
and dated, in the design folder. The design folder is a compilation of evidence that accompanies the final
product/solution for a unit of work. You should formally record the results of your research, various plans and
designs and the evaluation of your finished products/solutions in the design folder. The design folder must be
clearly divided into its constituent parts according to the stages of the design cycle: Inquiring & Analyzing,
Developing Ideas, Creating the Solution & Evaluating.

Submission Date: 31st jan 2017(criteria A), 20th Feb 2017(Criteria B), 20th Mar 2017(Criteria C), 30th Mar

My client is Mr. Nikhil. The problem that is faced by my client is bullying. He is getting bullied in his
school every day. So, in order to find a solution for this problem I am going to create a website. A
website is a collection of related web pages. This will be very powerful as many people nowadays are
more technically advanced. My target audience will be all the people who fall onto the category of
getting bullied.

excellent technical skills when making the solution.
Present the solution as a whole.
Criteria D: Evaluating (Evaluate)

solution.

Self-testing: In my perspective, my website meets all of its needs such as enough information and pictures/graphics
etc. my website was a success because I had done all the things that I mentioned to be there. But my website still has
room for improvement.

Peer-testing: “It could be better if more pictures and information were added.”by Chidam

Client testing:

User testing: “Website was very good but could have more info.”by Khushal

Expert testing: “Website is user friendly but could have been informative.” by my father (Iyappan)

Explain the success of the solution against the design specification

I mentioned to include I hyperlink but I did not.
For each title of the paragraph I did not use “TIMES NEW ROMAN”.
I changed the font type for the paragraphs too “HELVETICA LIGHT” was only for some.

Describe how the project could have been improved.

 The project could have improved if I would have added more information as the comments I
received from my peer and user was same.
 More attractive features such video could have helped improve my website’s quality.
 I could have also included some hyperlinks which I misses out.

Describe the impact of the solution on the client/ target audience.

My target audience were getting bullied a lot before viewing my website but now I would not say they are
not getting bullied now but have made use of the tips I suggested and that has benefited them. Therefore, I
can conclude that my solution has a good impact on the target audience.
