SSB INTERVIEW: 143 NDA COURSE COMMENCING IN JAN 2020

Dear Candidate,

1. Please refer your application for the above mentioned course.

2. You are required to report at DECATHLON SPORTS (PARKING AREA), MYSURU CITY,
OPPOSITE 2 AIR FORCE SELECTION BOARD, NEAR NANDINI DIARY at 0630 h (Morning) on
the date selected by you/allotted to you on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in for SSB.

3. The schedule of testing is as follows:-

Schedule Activity
Day 1 Phase I: Officer Intelligence Rating test, Picture Perception and Discussion Tests, Document
check (for Phase II candidates). Candidates not recommended for Phase – II will be routed
back between 1300h-1430h)
Phase II: Rest (mandatory), Psychological test: 1800h – 2100h (tentative)
Day 2, 3, 4 Group Tests/Interviews
Day 5 Group Tests/Interviews, Board Conference (for all candidates who have cleared Phase I).
Candidates not recommended will depart after the Conference. Candidates who are
recommended would fill up documents after the conference.

Day 6 CPSS for candidates eligible for Flying branch.

4. You should satisfy all eligibility criteria as mentioned in the advertisement for the said entry. If you do
not meet the eligibility as per advertisement in employment news or you are not in possession of necessary
documents (Listed in para 4 below), you will not be accepted for tests and will be routed back without any
payment of travelling allowance.

5. You must bring with you the following documents IN ORIGINAL along with 02 Photo copies of the
same.

(a) Matriculation /10th Passing certificate and Marks sheet in Original issued by the
state/CBSE/ICSE/University as proof of Date of Birth. Other documents such as admit
cards/Transfer Certificates etc are not (R) not admissible for the proof of same.
(b) 12th Class Passing certificate and Marks sheet.
 (c) NCC ‘C’ Certificate (If applicable)
(d) UPSC Admit Card and Call Letter
(e) Valid Photo Identity Card of your School/College or Driving License/Passport or Voter Identity
Card/Aadhar Card.
(f) 25 recent colour photographs.
(g) On a plain paper write name, telephone number and complete postal address of two Gazetted
Officer / trustworthy person (Not in blood relation). The persons should know you and vouch for your
character and antecedents.
(h) Any other certificates supporting your Sports, Extracurricular activities and any other special
achievements.

Note1: In case candidate is studying in class 12th in the current academic year he should bring a
Bonafide Certificate (Specimen copy annexed) from the Principal of his Institute. In such case, you
will be required to submit original certificate and marks sheet to Recruiting Directorate (NDA
Entry) Army HQ latest by 24 Dec 19.

Note2: Custodian certificate issued by the college Principal along with attested copies of mark sheets
and passing certificates is required, if original mark sheets and passing certificates submitted in any
institute/ college.

6. You should also be in possession of the following:

(a) Railway ticket/Bus ticket (for payment of travelling allowances). Candidates travelling by Air
are to submit are to submit hard copy of travelling ticket along with boarding pass at the time of
reporting. No travel allowance will be paid without hard copy of the journey ticket. AC III tier fare or
the actual fare paid, whichever is less, will be paid to entitled candidate in all the cases.

(b) Indemnity Bond Certificate duly filled and signed by the candidate along with a witness of
above 18 yrs of age (if he is above 18 yrs Age). If below 18 years of age, then the same should be
signed by either of parent only. In case parents are not alive, to be signed by the next natural guardian/
legal guardian along with a witness of above 18 yrs of age (the witness should not be from blood
relation). (Candidates below 18 years of age without proper Indemnity Bond (annexed along with this
call letter) will be routed back without testing).

(c) One pair of white shirt/T-shirt, shorts/trousers/track suit, socks and a pair of sports shoes. Bring
at least one pair of formal dress and shoes for interview purpose. Bring clothing requirements for six
days, as per weather conditions.

(d) Adequate writing material (ink/ball point pen (blue or black colour) and lead pencil).

7. You are advised to plan your arrival well in time catering for the late arrival of trains/Buses in this zone
(Late comers shall not be accepted).

8. Candidates with present back log in class XII need not to report as they will be routed back without
testing.

9. Mobile phones/other electronic gadgets (Tabs/ Laptops, Cameras, external HDD, Ipods, Pen Drives
etc.) are strictly prohibited.

10. You are requested to withhold your move in case you have a relative at this Board and intimate to this
Board immediately the particulars of the person concerned and await further instructions. Any attempts made
by candidates, their relations or friends to influence the members of Air Force Selection Board in their favour
either verbally or in writing will result in his name being removed from the list of candidates. In all matters of
discipline, the decision of President AFSB will be final and no appeal against his decision will be entertained.
11. Recommended candidates will be required to proceed for medical examination for duration of 03-04
days at IAM/Command Hospital Bangalore.

12. The TA for your journey will be paid in your bank account only through NEFT/RTGS. Therefore you
have to bring a cancelled cheque/photo copy of 1st page of Bank passbook in support of your bank details. The
account should be in the name of the candidate only.

13. Queries, if any, will be entertained on telephone between 0800h to 1330h from Tuesday To Friday.

14. Candidates are to bring along with them the following forms, pre-filled, when reporting for SSB at this
centre. The date on the form will be your date of reporting at 2 AFSB.
